When you walk on the streets of the city, you can see many homeless people sleeping in

the streets, which has become a unique urban landscape.Among them are white, black, mostly

middle-aged men, and there are different types of homeless people.Some homeless people are

 migratory homeless people who take their car as their home and travel around the world.Will

 not stay in a city or even a state for too long.some homeless people choose to stay in one city

 or even a street  for a long time.Usually go to fast food restaurants to grab a meal, and the kind 

Employee will not drive them away. Every day when the bakery closes, the clerk will send them

 unsold bread for the day. In short, there is no shortage of food to eat and drink. Many homeless

 people have become accustomed to a free and unfettered lifestyle. Some people chose to pitch

 tents, some slept in cars, and some slept on the streets with quilts or blankets covered. The

 main reason is that they cannot see the future and hope, so we should not discriminate against 

them. Of course, a small number of them are meaninglessly wasting social resources, but most

 of them are struggling on the verge of collapse . When there is no future and hope, who is not a 

walking dead?

basic living facilities, such as AC, bathrooms, and separate bedrooms, but few homeless people 

are willing to spend the night in relief stations. 

A person from reddit shared his experience about the situation. Because of some private 

reason, he lost his income, so he decided to move out with his package. He slept through many 

places, like Mcdonald’s , park or out the bank. First, He said the homeless will save the money 

to buy a house or car , not rent an apartment. The main thing is that there is no house to live in . 

second about health, no bathroom to wash the body , so you are smelly, but the cloth can go to 

the laundry store to wash .Third is about the job, they need your address to accept you , so the 

organization will give you a part time job. “I have endured countless strange eyes of others. 

Although the student department of my university temporarily arranged a dormitory for me a 

month later.i also found a temporary job. And financial support was restored to my family a few 

months later, which put an end to my displaced life.”

Who are the homeless? I have talked to many homeless people, many percent of them 

caused by bankruptcy. They’ve been living in the middle class  before. Need credit card to pay 

and then get the salary . Once they lose a job and the cards expire , their life will end . this 

why after te covid happen, many people became homeless. It cause the mental problem , so 

Many of them got rejected by the people. here are some people who are homeless through no 

fault of their own. A job loss, a major medical expense, can cause a person to be homeless at 

any time. There are people who are working but are unable to pay the rent. They end up 

homeless.

As for drugs, it also a factor to make people homeless, but more than that , living a life of 

homelessness, coupled with the serious discrimination against them in society, makes many 

People who do not touch drugs feel hopeless and gradually start taking drugs. When you kindly 

give them money, they will not change into clean clothes, fill their stomachs, and find a job. In 

 fact, they are wrong. Some of them will go to the liquor store to buy alcohol, drink, and then 

sleep on the road .

At a subway station in New York, a Chinese woman was pushed off the track by a 

homeless man while waiting for the train, and was hit and killed by the train.This Chinese 

woman has been speaking out for the homeless during her lifetime, and in her spare time, she 

volunteers to help the homeless. An old Korean man saw a homeless man lying on the ground 

sleeping on the street. The old man was very kind, but the weather was too cold, so he took off 

his coat and wanted to give it to the homeless man, but unexpectedly the homeless man woke 

up immediately , took away the clothes of the old man in an instant, and aimed at his pockets, 

and took away all his wallet and financial resources，Because the old man had been struggling 

back and forth, he was also beaten by the homeless man.So not every homeless person can be 

humanized

But some homeless people are so kind. They will also share food with others even if 

they don’t have money to buy other food, because they know this situation. Ann Weusgerber 

said we diminish the values of those who are not able to accomplish the same thing in life, 

which should play no part in qualifying their humanity. 

In September 2022. There are over 60000 homeless people including children and 

women living in New York . Nobody deserves to be  homeless because some people are 

fighting against homeless legislation , aggressive gentrification and a society that just wants this 

demographic of citizens to disappear. Some people think they are ugly or noisy, affecting public 

and private space, people hate their incompetence, so exclude them.“Homeless New Yorkers 

are New Yorkers through and through, and they, like all of us, need to know their rights,” said 

Emerita Torres, Vice President for Policy, Research and Advocacy at the Community Service 

Society of New York. “This important legislation will ensure that clear messages regarding 

universal rights to education, legal representation, voting and more will reach our neighbors 

experiencing homelessness.”

Life is difficult, but not bitter, there is always something worth looking forward to, such as 

love，It can be seen that some homeless people will bring pets, and there is a sign on the 

board that please give my dog or cat some food, because these pets are the only ones who are 

willing to spend time and enthusiasm for him.I once said that I admire people who choose this 

kind of work, at least they are earning money with their hands, but in my eyes, they are not 

homeless, just a down-and-out person, a person who is working hard，so please be kind to 

them , at least not say something to them , if u don’t like them , just ignore them .
